I was prepared to rate “System Upgrade” with 4 stars until I read the climax. What an ending! Therefore, that’s why I rated this incredible novel with 5 stars. This story was part suspense and part thriller. Perfect!
The intense imagery and astonishing realization that there was no turning back from the advancement of Ai and the forces that are bent on manipulating the masses is what got me hooked. This book makes you really consider where things are going in today’s society and the future of humanity.
I read this book in two sittings. It would have been one, but I got busy. The story really grabs you. It’s irresistible because you really see how our world is changing to the point where we depend on our technology to function. It was outstanding, and I immensely enjoyed it. It’s Interesting, fun, clever, informative, eye-opening, and easy to follow.
Chris’s characters were convincing & credible. The plot was well thought out and one can imagine how something like this could happen with advancements in technology, Ai and the revolving door of military industrial complex.
